Complacency is the biggest enemy we will have

 

As restrictions begin to ease across our state, AMA Tasmania President Professor John Burgess warns Tasmanians that we cannot just go back to the way things were before COVID-19. “Complacency is the biggest enemy we will have,” Professor Burgess says. Professor Burgess dubbed the coronavirus outbreak a ‘global wake-up call,’ stating we will need to adapt to social distancing and increased hygiene practices for the long-term in order to keep each other safe.
