Survey to identify barriers to sleep services

The Queensland Respiratory and Sleep Clinical Network is asking clinicians to take a short survey about the barriers to access respiratory and sleep services.

The Network is particularly interested in hearing from remote and regional referrers, given the inequity in access across the state and the bureaucratic processes that make referrals far more difficult than they need to be.

The survey aims to identify potential barriers to referring patients and what actions the referrer prefers to overcome these barriers.
There are two parts to the survey:

  • a 5–10 minute survey that asks general information about access difficulties
  • an optional 5 minute survey about problems with specific conditions (COPD/asthma, suspected lung cancer and obstructive sleep apnoea) to provide valuable and more targeted information.

You can find the survey below, or alternatively, using the QR code to access the survey online.

The Queensland Respiratory and Sleep Clinical Network sits within Clinical Excellence Queensland. This is a multidisciplinary group of senior clinicians which aims to engage other clinicians and consumers in decision making about clinical services planning and implementation, clinical practice improvement, and quality and safety enhancements.
