Free webinar for GPs supporting families of veterans

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (the Department) has advised of a free professional development webinar on supporting families, partners and children of veterans. Registrations are currently open to attend the webinar: Understanding the Impact of Veterans’ Mental Health on their Families, Partners and Children.

The webinar is the sixth in the series Mental Health and the Military Experience and focuses on providing support to families, partners and children of veterans facing mental health issues. There will be an expert panel including a lived experience panel member, GP/therapist, social worker, and a psychiatrist, and the session will be facilitated by a clinical psychologist.
