AMA expresses its condolences at the passing of Tasmanian medical student
AMA Tasmania President A/Prof Tim Greenaway has expressed his deepest condolences to the family of University of Tasmania medical student Magella Tate.
“I was extremely saddened to hear of Magella passing,” said A/Prof Greenaway. “It is a tragic loss of a promising young medical professional’s life.”
The University of Tasmania is offering counseling to any student affected and can be contacted on 1800 817 675. Lifeline counseling services are also available on 13 11 14.
