AMA submission on TGA proposals to change the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code and S3 medicines (pharmacist only) advertising

The AMA does not support changes to the Schedule 3 medicines advertising framework without appropriate, robust and enforceable controls. The TGA has not provided sufficient detail for the AMA to be assured this will occur. The AMA supports the TGA's proposals for strengthening the overall Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.
