AMA submission on revised pharmacist professional practice standards

The AMA lodged a detail submission in response to the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia's consultation on revised professional practice standards for pharmacists. Overall the revised standards set a high bar for pharmacist practice. The AMA made suggestions however to strengthen details in relation to vaccination services, screening and risk assessment, disease state management, and health promotion and education.
