The Australian Medical Association has provided a submission to the Implementation Plan Advisory Group Consultation 2017 on the development of the next iteration of the Implementation Plan for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan 2013-2023.
This submission addresses some of the key social and cultural determinants of health, including law and justice, housing, and racism; it also touches on the importance of Indigenous community-led solutions and the Indigenous health workforce, in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
