AMA Submission to Council of Australian Governments Health Council consultation paper: National obesity strategy.

Combatting obesity demands a whole of society approach requiring the participation of governments, non-government organisations, the health medical and food industries, the media, employers, schools and community groups.  A coordinated national straegy will underpin these efforts.  The AMA welcomes the development of a COAG edorsed National Obesity Strategy.
