AMA submission to ARPANSA on a draft code for radiation protection in medical exposure

The AMA supports the draft code circulated by ARPANSA for public comment, but noted that the code assumes that all medical exposure to radiation occurs in radiology practices, emphasising the role and responsibilities of radiologists. Other medical practitioner craft groups, other than radiologists, must also be well trained in the use and dangers of radiation.
