Members recognised in 2020 Queen's Birthday honours

AMA Queensland would like to extend our sincerest congratulations to our members who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to healthcare in Australia in this year’s Queen's Birthday honours. Each honour is thoroughly deserved.

Congratulations to:

• Professor Philip Morris for his appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to psychiatry, to medical education, and to professional health organisations.
• Dr Lyndall White for her appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to medicine, to psychiatry, and to perinatal and infant mental.
• Dr Arthur Briner who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the Jewish community, and to ophthalmology.
• Dr Harold Paul Spiro who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to paediatric ophthalmology.
