Time is running out to register for the Queensland Revenue Office’s general practice payroll tax amnesty, with expressions of interest closing 10 November 2023.

AMA Queensland President Dr Maria Boulton has registered and urged eligible practices to lodge an EOI before the closing date.

‘I have registered and it was easy. I feel relieved knowing I have reduced the risk of retrospective liability, interest and penalties for my business.’

In addition, AMA Queensland has written to the Queensland Treasurer and QRO to once again advocate for extension of the amnesty to all medical practices to give them time to comply with the new Public Ruling.

Practices can access the response once received on our campaign page
