The Great Resignation webinar recording

On 11 April, the Workplace Relations Team hosted its first webinar from the 2022 Webinar Series. This webinar looked at the trend of ‘The Great Resignation’ and explored how it is relevant in the medical sector. Mass resignations have been on the rise in the medical industry over the last few years for a range of reasons. These range from burn out due to increase in demand for medical services and vaccine mandates imposed on all health staff.

We offered strategies practices could consider adapting to support their staff and increase employee satisfaction at work. We looked at effective ways to retain staff, and how to identify if their day-to-day work may be a contributing factor to the feelings they have about the workplace.
