Register your interest: Rural Maternity Summit

The Central West Hospital and Health Service, together with the Department of Health, invites guests to register interest in the 2025 Rural Maternity Summit.

Join the Central West Hospital and Health Service and the Department of Health in Longreach next year for the 2025 Rural Maternity Summit.

The event is targeted at clinicians in Queensland who are currently working in rural and remote communities (MMM4-7) performing intrapartum care. However, it is open to all clinical members of the maternity team from rural and remote maternity services anywhere in Australia, including students and trainees or those interested in a rural and remote career.

The Summit will be a three-day event incorporating strategic discussions, educational opportunities, socialising, and rural service showcasing. The program will include updates by generalists and midwives, and some specific education by specialists who have a connection with rural maternity services and understand the unique nature of rural and remote work.

Register your interest to be in the know as soon as the program and details are confirmed, and official registrations open.
