Do you know your RMO entitlements?

AMA Queensland salaried medical officers enjoy free membership with our industrial relations partner, the Australian Salaried Medical Officers' Federation Queensland (ASMOFQ).

ASMOFQ represents our public practice members in industrial relations negotiations and workplace disputes and helps members navigate entitlements and specific working conditions.

Knowledge is most certainly power when it comes to your working rights and ASMOFQ have prepared this information sheet to help Resident Medical Officers (RMO) employed at a Hospital and Health Service within Queensland Health.

ASMOFQ have simplified the complex conditions into a handy tip sheet to help RMOs know their working rights.

The summary is from the current Medical Officers' (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No.5) 2018 (MOCA 5) and the Medical Officers (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015.

ASMOFQ are gearing up to continue to protect and advance your working rights in the upcoming MOCA 6 negotiations that commences this year.

As Queensland's doctors' union, ASMOFQ aims to protect doctor's industrial rights and ensure they are protected and enhanced.
