What allowances should you be paying your staff?
Employees may be entitled to different types of allowances under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (HPSS) and the Nurses Award 2020. These allowances can be found in Clause 22 – Allowances of the HPSS Award 2020, and Clause 17 – Allowances of the Nurses Award 2020. We have outlined in the documents below the most commonly used allowances for each of these awards.
