Expansion of doctors' bags will improve patient access
AMA Queensland has suggested additional medicines for inclusion in doctors’ bags to improve patient access, early treatment commencement and continuity of care. The expanded range was developed by AMA Queensland’s Committee of General Practice.
AMA Queensland has written to Chief Medical Officer Catherine McDougall to suggest additional medicines for inclusion in doctors’ bags to improve patient access, early treatment commencement and continuity of care.
The expanded range was developed by AMA Queensland’s Committee of General Practice to increase access for patients, particularly those in regional, rural and
remote services, after hours when pharmacies are often closed and during emergencies.
