Justice Legislation Amendment Bill 2021
AMA Queensland provides input on the Justice Legislation (COVID-19 Emergency Response – Permanency) Amendment Bill 2021. AMA Queensland maintains the position we held in June 2021 when this Amendment Bill was introduced.
AMA Queensland wishes to state from the outset that we are in support of nurses and doctors working together to deliver better health outcomes for Queenslanders. However, AMA Queensland does not support the authorisation of role substitution and allowing health practitioners who are unqualified to perform certain tasks.
