Dr Hambleton. ABC News 24, 20 September 2012

AMA President Dr Steve Hambleton explains that brain development in humans does not stop until the mid-twenties so young brains are more susceptible to alcohol. He says it is unlikely that the drinking age will ever get to 25 but that he doesn't want young people going out with the expressed intention to drink to unsafe levels. He says we have to help young people make decisions but regulators have a role as well.
