AMA President Dr Steve Hambleton comments on a new National Education Curriculum that will see children as young as eleven taught sexual education. The plans have drawn criticism from some Catholic schools after it was proposed that puberty would be discussed with children as young as seven years of age. Dr Steve Hambleton, President, Australian Medical Association, says that it is a little bit early for the type of education that is being talked about.
