AMA President Dr Steve Hambleton says that e-health will bring a great benefit for the Australian community if done right. He says that there are still hills to climb to resolve legal issues about practical implementation and that they may not be sorted out by 1 July 2012. Dr Hambleton says that there is currently no business case for specialists, doctors or hospitals to sign up to the current e-health system.
