AMA President Dr Steve Hambleton calls for mandatory cooking classes in schools. A quarter of children are overweight or obese by the time they leave school and they turn into 60 per cent of our adults. Dr Hambleton said young people need to be able to go shopping and produce meals that are nutritious and good for them.
