A/Prof Brian Owler - AMA TV - Climate change
The AMA Position Statement on Climate Change and Health states that human health is ultimately dependent on the health of the planet and its ecosystem.
In his latest video message, recorded especially for the Doctors for the Environment Conference, AMA President A/Prof Brian Owler says climate change will have "significant consequences" for our health, and failure to take action would be "intergenerational theft".
"If we don’t put policies in place now to control climate change, and if we don't properly prepare for the health consequences of climate change, we’re going to do the next generation a disservice as well," A/Prof Owler said.
