Launch of the AMA Public Hospital Report Card 2013
AMA President, Dr Steve Hambleton, will tomorrow launch the AMA Public Hospital Report Card 2013.
The Report Card covers the most recent comprehensive published public hospital capacity and performance data for all States and Territories, and provides commentary from the frontline medical perspective.
Dr Hambleton said that real progress in improving public hospital performance is being hampered by the ongoing blame game between the Federal and State Governments over funding.
“The public hospital blame game has to stop,” Dr Hambleton said.
