QUESTION: Why has the AMA decided to put out this position paper on homophobia? I mean there are a huge number of as well?

KERRYN PHELPS: Well indeed, and that goes back to the point that I made, that fortunately we have a wide range of cultural backgrounds and language backgrounds of doctors in Australia, and hopefully Australian patients will be able - of whatever background - will be able to find a doctor that suits them and that they feel compatible and comfortable with. I think that's an important part of continuity of care in the health sector.
