AMA President to join minister on Pollie Pedal

AMA President, Dr Bill Glasson, will join Health Minister, Tony Abbott, and other riders for the final leg of Pollie Pedal 2004 from Camden to Westmead this Saturday, 8 May 2004.

Dr Glasson will be available for interview and pictures at 7.00am at the Poplar Caravan Park, Macarthur Road, Camden, before setting off with Mr Abbott and others on the 65-kilometre ride to Westmead Hospital.

Dr Glasson will be seeking details of the 2004-05 Health Budget from the Minister throughout the ride.

There will be a BBQ lunch for the riders at the end of the trek at Westmead Hospital from around 11.30am.
