AMA NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2008

The 2008 AMA National Conference is being held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart, from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June 2008.
In a Conference highlight, influential doctors from around the nation will discuss the shape of Australia's health system to come, ahead of the first all-Labor meeting of the Council Of Australian Governments (COAG).
The role of GPs and GP super-clinics, and medical professionalism are other session highlights.
The AMA also will present the Dirty Ashtray Award to the State or Territory with Australia's worst anti-smoking record over the past 12 months.
