Helping Doctors Provide Better Support for Victims of Family Violence
The AMA is today launching Supporting Patients Experiencing Family Violence: A Resource for Medical Practitioners, an important new resource to assist doctors provide better support for victims of family violence.
It has been produced in collaboration with the Law Council of Australia.
AMA President, A/Prof Brian Owler, and Mr Duncan McConnel, President of the Law Council of Australia, will be available to comment on the issues surrounding family violence at a media conference in Brisbane today at 1.00pm.
