Sick leave during annual leave

If an employee becomes sick or injured while they are on a period of annual leave they can use their accrued paid sick leave available to them instead of their annual leave. The amount of sick leave taken is deducted from their sick and carer’s leave balance and their annual leave balance should be credited back to them.
