The class of 2023 are ready to spread their wings! 2024's interns joined us on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Townsville for intern workshops so we could help with their transition from student to doctor.

2024's interns learned more about:

  • Knowing your working rights as an intern – presented by ASMOFQ.
  • Regulation and professionalism for medical practitioners – presented by Heather Edwards, Ahpra.
  • Financial advice to set you up for life – presented by Nicole Brown, Sav Angi and Josh Holt Cutcher & Neale.
  • Practice what you preach: realistic suggestions for your health and well-being during internship - presented by Doctors' Health in Queensland.
  • Taking the plunge – a guide on transitioning from student to doctor in training, presented by the Committee of Doctors in Training Drs Elise Witter, Ekta Paw and Antony Ji.
  • Networking with expert speakers and medical students graduates.
  • Dr Yan Lee will offer insights into his professional journey and provide information about The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' (RACGP) training programs (Brisbane and Gold Coast).
