Opportunity for GPs to engage with skin cancer specialists

Icon Cancer Clinic invites all GPs to attend their Southeast Queensland Skin Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to engage with specialists, discuss patient cases and determine the best course of action for treatment.

GPs, you are invited to attend the Southeast Queensland Skin Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings hosted online by Icon Cancer Centre.

The meetings are an opportunity for you to engage with specialists involved in the skin cancer patient treatment journey across Southeast Queensland and discuss current patient cases to determine best course of action for treatment.

The specialists involved include:

  • Dr Jim Muir - Dermatologist
  • Dr Nathan Schaefer and Dr James Allan - Plastic Surgeons
  • Dr Tim Eviston - Head and Neck Surgeon
  • Dr St.John Newman, Dr Mihir Shanker and Dr Marcus Hu - Radiation Oncologists
  • Sullivan Nicolaides - Pathology Services

The details are as follows:

  • Date: Fortnightly on Thursday evenings commencing 18 July 2024
  • Location: Online only via Microsoft Teams - the Teams meeting invite will be distributed fortnightly to GPs registered
  • Time: 6-7pm

To register your interest, please email skin.mdt@icon.team. After registering, a link to the platform Qool will be provided to submit patient cases for discussion.
