AMA Queensland members Drs David Bade, Chris Erian and Michael Erian have published an article titled 'Burnout in medicine leading to clinical errors and ‘severe stress’' in MJA Insight+.
The authors examine the issue of burnout in healthcare and explain how it undermines the safety of patients and practitioners alike and call for burnout to be properly addressed.
