New President installed at Dinner for the Profession
Dr Nick Yim was installed as President at Friday night's Dinner for the Profession.
Guests basked in the Cannes Film Festival-themed Dinner for the Profession on Friday night, complete with a red carpet, paparazzi, anniversary celebrations and a Presidential Inauguration.
Dr Nick Yim and Dr Emilia Dauway were welcomed as AMA Queensland's new President and Vice President. The new Board and Council were officially announced at the preceeding Annual General Meeting.
The Rural Health, Excellence in Health Care and Doctor in Training Medals were awarded to highly deserving recipients, as well as an induction into the AMA Roll of Fellows and recognition for our Distinguished Supporter Member. Find out more about our award winners.
MC Dr Vyom Sharma charmed guests with his own brand of magic and the night was also a chance to celebrate AMA Queensland's 130th anniversary, with memorabilia showcasing a tiny part of our rich history.
