Consultation workshops - standards for pain management education

The Faculty of Pain Medicine at the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) has invited AMA Queensland members to participate in its stakeholder consultation workshops to develop Australian Standards for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education.

The Faculty of Pain Medicine ANZCA has invited AMA Queensland members to participate in its stakeholder consultation workshops - a critical part of its federally funded project to develop Australian Standards for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education.

The project in line with the first goal of the National Strategy for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education.

The stakeholder consultation workshops offer a unique opportunity to engage in interactive discussions and provide valuable input. To ensure meaningful participation, spaces are limited. The workshops will be held in-person in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with two additional online workshops available.

  • Brisbane (Grand Chancellor Hotel) - Tuesday 10 September 2024, 9.00am-12.30pm
  • Online workshop - Tuesday 17 September 2024, 10.00am-12.30pm (AEST)
  • Online workshop - Thursday 19 September 2024,10.00am-12.30pm (AEST)

To register, complete and submit the registration form as soon as possible and at least two weeks prior to your preferred workshop date. The ANZCA team will reach out to you within three days of receiving your submission.
