Dr Stephens posted a photo on Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day (Friday 2 June) in her crazy socks to raise awareness of doctors' mental health and wellbeing.
AMA Queensland celebrated Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day in Townsville, hosting many crazy sock wearers at the Women in Medicine Breakfast. Committee of Doctors in Training Chair Dr Elise Witter spoke about the importance of the day and the advances made on doctors' health and wellbeing in the past year.
Dr Witter also sat down with more senior doctors and found out more about their own methods of battling burnout and staying well.
