AMA National Conference and awards

With less than 35 days remaining until the start of the 2022 AMA National Conference, all members are invited to register to attend the event which will be held in Sydney and by video on 29-31 July.

The three-day CPD eligible program includes international and national medical leaders such as Dr Anthony Fauci and Prof Brendan Murphy among many others speaking at the event. 

Conference sessions will examine building back Australian medicine post pandemic; climate change and health; gender equity in healthcare leadership; reversing the trend in doctors deserting general practice; and sessions on rural and public health. 

Confirmed speakers include Dr Anthony Fauci, Prof Brendan Murphy, Prof Paul Kelly, and Prof Ruth Stewart. The Federal Health Minister and Shadow Health Minister will also participate to hear doctors discuss what is needed for the health system post-pandemic. Election of the new AMA President and Vice President will also take place during the conference, and the 2022 AMA awards will be announced.
