COVID-19 vaccine information videos in other languages
GPs in supporting patients to understand Australia’s COVID-19 vaccination rollout plan will be interested to know that the SBS has recently release video explainers in 63 languages, including English and Auslan.
In addition to providing information about the availability of the vaccine, the vaccine approval process and vaccine safety, these videos explain the different phases of the Australian Government’s COVID-19 Vaccine National Rollout Plan-specifically, in what order different workers and age groups will receive the vaccine. The videos highlight where the vaccine will be available; who will receive it free of charge (including those with temporary visa status); and points to additional resources for further information.
These 63 videos are available across all SBS platforms including the SBS Multilingual Coronavirus Portal and on SBS On Demand—which all Australians can access on any device.
