AMA update on COVID-19 vaccine rollout: 3pm AEDT Friday 5 March
AMA members (and their Practice Managers) are invited to attend a second in a series of planned webinars on the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination program.
Deputy Commonwealth Chief Medical Officer, Professor Michael Kidd, will provide a progress report on the national vaccination program and address issues relevant to both GPs and non-GP Specialists alike. The webinar will focus on:

Clinical guideline clarity for vaccine use in at risk groups;

Healthcare worker access to the vaccine in advance of wider population distribution;

General Practice’s response to the Expression of Interest;

Medico-legal issues of patient consent and the Commonwealth vaccine indemnity.
The webinar will be chaired by AMA Federal President Dr Omar Khorshid at 3pm AEDT on Friday 5 March from 3pm to 4pm. The webinar is free for any AMA member (or their Practice Manager).
