International Conference on Physician Health 2021

AMA members may be interested in the International Conference on Physician Health 2021, that will be held virtually from Monday 26 – Friday 30 April 2021.  

The conference is supported by the British, American and Canadian Medical Associations, and aims to support doctors and medical students to create better working environments for themselves and their colleagues.  

The conference programme will be extended across five days, and with a view to international audiences, live conference sessions will be scheduled across several different time zones. There will be a ‘live’ three-hour session each day, and conference content will also be available on demand for three months post-event. Full details will be available in early January 2021.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: COVID-19 UPDATE 

In addition to the abstracts that have already been accepted, there is a new and limited call for abstracts for short oral presentations (15 minutes) or posters with a focus on the following areas: 

  • Effects of pandemic on physical and mental health of individual physicians and their teams  

  • Innovations in physician health service development and provision in response to the pandemic 

  • Reviewers will also consider relevance of the submission to the overall conference theme: a vision for humanity in medicine 

Work must have a strong COVID-19 focus.
