Free webinars for GPs—hearing services for veterans
A free webinar will be held to inform GPs and other health professionals about hearing devices and treatments available to veterans with hearing loss and tinnitus.
The webinar—Understanding and Accessing Hearing Services— will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday 23 September 2020, and hosted by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) and Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN).
Topics covered will include:
- eligibility for hearing services
- how to take steps to improve your hearing
- how to prepare for your appointment
- fitting devices
- the range of programs available to assist veterans experiencing hearing loss and tinnitus
