The AMA congratulates passionate and dedicated member of the AMA Council of General Practice, Dr Kean-Seng Lim, on being awarded GP of the Year at the RACGP’s annual conference.

Dr Lim, a GP of Mount Druitt Medical Centre in Western Sydney, is widely admired for his longstanding commitment to the provision of high-quality general practice care and his dedication to the community and to student training.

Dr Lim has been an energetic force in the development of a peer educational program for university and high school students, the award winning SALSA (Students as Lifestyle Activists) program, which motivates and guides young people to make well-informed choices about their general health, nutrition and physical activity levels.
