Asthma Australia: new online training modules

GPs have access to new Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) training modules courtesy of the Lung Foundation Australia. These tools provide best-practice information for health professionals, contributing to consistent quality health care for asthma patients. The Lung Foundation modules can be found online here.

Following the thunderstorm asthma event in November 2016, it is important for GPs to have an asthma plan in place to assist patients. A previous issue of GPNN outlined important information on how best to prepare for the possibility of another thunderstorm asthma event in 2017.
