AMA Careers and Professional Development Services
If you are a GP considering going into practice on your own, or an experienced GP seeking to carve out a new career or retire from practice, the AMA Career Advice Hub is on hand to provide practical advice and information.
In collaboration with the best service providers, the AMA Career Advice Hub offers expert advice, support and guidance. AMA members can take advantage of free one-on-one careers coaching with our medical careers experts too.
The AMA also supports you in your continuing professional development, by providing a range of resources and member-only benefits such as discounts on registration to MJA CPD Events, RACGP and ACRRM accredited education and free CPD Tracking within doctorportal Learning, a state-of-the-art online system where you can undertake medical learning or manage your CPD reporting obligations, against any medical college(s) for free (members only).
There is also a referral to AMA resources for general practitioners from the Career Advice Hub that helps to promote how the AMA supports general practice.
