CDT Policy Advisory Committee (CPAC) Update
The CPAC team met recently to finalise our revised policy statements on Workplace Facilities and Accommodation for Hospital Doctors, Workplace Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Harassment and National Intern Allocation.
Workplace Facilities and Accommodation for Hospital Doctors
● Updated to include adequate internet access, security, childcare and breastfeeding facilities and adequate ventilation for potential airborne disease outbreaks
Workplace Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Harassment
● Highlighting the responsible organisations for managing these issues, acknowledging common underlying drivers, recognising that sexual harassment is gender based and organisational strategies need to be in place
National Intern Allocation
● Updated processes post graduation and continued support for centralised application database on the basis to streamline the employment process while still allowing jurisdictions autonomy in the selection process
