Australia’s Future Health Workforce - Emergency Medicine report

Are you an ED trainee? Are you thinking about ED as a career? Current workforce predictions show that we'll have twice as many emergency physicians as we need in 2030! It's not all bad news though, with a number of scenarios mapped out demonstrating how things might look over the coming years.

The AMACDT sits on the National Medical Training Advisory Network (NMTAN), who have produced this report. This is the body tasked by government to map out all medical specialties in Australia so that we can best manage the workforce in the years to come.
