Doctors’ Health

The AMA continues to progress the development of a national health program for doctors and medical students in Australia, with funding support from the Medical Board of Australia.  The AMA has formed Doctors Health Services Pty Ltd (DrHS), to administer this funding and coordinate the roll out nationally consistent services in every State and Territory. The Board of DrHS has been appointed and already held its first meeting while the DrHS Expert Advisory Council has been constituted and working on a number of projects. Expressions of Interest to provide services are expected to be sent to existing providers very shortly.
