MBS Working Group
Changes implemented by Government as a result of the MBS Review have highlighted the critical importance of ensuring clinician involvement throughout the entire MBS policy process. AMA support for the MBS Review has been contingent on adequate and relevant clinician guidance and input.
An AMA MBS Working Group was established in 2017 to provide advice to the AMA in shaping our input and advocacy on all aspects of the Review.
The Working Group is comprised of AMA members, representing various speciality disciplines across the country. Members provide the AMA with insights and advice on the Clinical Committee’s process and recommendations.
