‘Real rural’ policy reform in the sights of rural doctors association.
An invitation from the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA):
With the end of the year fast approaching, we are heading into what we anticipate will be crunch time in relation to the impacts of the Government’s Distribution Priority Area (DPA) expansion policy.
Please complete the online questionnaire if you have received a resignation by a doctor who is subject to the 10 year moratorium (section 19AB of HIA) and is now relocating to a large regional town or capital city.
The RDAA are briefing the government and stakeholders on the impacts of this policy in an effort to get 'real rural' policy reform and the appropriate level of investment so rural and remote Australians have equitable access to quality medical care. It’s the real stories that resonate with the politicians. Thank you to all who have responded so far.
