Be a doctor for doctors

Drs4Drs provide support for doctors, medical students, and partners, and they invite you to become a doctor for doctors — with relevant CPD points.

To help you understand both your own health as well as how to care for your colleagues, Drs4Drs has developed a free, online modular education course, which will broaden your understanding of doctors’ health. The modules cover topics such as self-care, the doctor as a patient, and the doctor as a doctor’s doctor. On completion, you will receive a certificate which you can lodge with your college for possible CPD points and you can log it on the AMA CPD tracker.  There are three simple steps to become a doctor for doctors. The course is interactive and can be completed at your own pace.

We also encourage you to submit an expression of interest to join the doctors’ health “special interest group” of doctors in your state and territory.

Of course, Drs4Drs is here for you with our two complementary confidential, free and 24/7 health support services. Our services are available for all doctors, medical students and their spouse/ partner.

As a first point of contact, each state and territory offers their own health advisory service over the phone, staffed with GPs and other specialists trained in doctor’s health.

In addition to this, we offer a dedicated mental health support service, 1300 Dr4Drs (1300 374 377), for urgent and non-urgent matters alike. For full information on the services and resources available, visit https://www.drs4drs.com.au/getting-help/.
