Drs4Drs’ ‘five minute guides’ are a free set of materials aimed to help you stay well.

The team at Drs4Drs are here to help keep you fit and well, and are also available to help you find support for when you are not.

Drs4Drs have wide range of materials to help you in good shape, including the ‘five minute guides’ which are designed to help you stay well, and which cover numerous topics applicable to all manner of healthcare workers. Five minutes guides offer relevant material to help you balancing parenthood and medicine, exams, bullying, compassion fatigue and burnout, and numerous other issues.

Another important way to keep well is to organise an annual health check with your GP.  Drs4Drs have some advice on this, as well as many other resources, at wwwdrs4drs.com.au/staying-well.

As well as the state service providers, where you will be supported by a medical colleague, we offer a complementary service where support is provided by a psychologist or counsellor.  These psychologists and counsellors must complete our “Be a doctor for doctors” learning modules before providing counselling to doctors and medical students.  Drs4Drs also recently introduced a counselling service specifically for our LGBTQIA+ doctors and medical students.

The 24/7, confidential and free Drs4Drs phone service is found at 1300 Dr4Drs (1300 374 377).

For further details on all these services visit www.drs4drs.com.au/getting-help/
