Seeking expressions of interest: DiT vacancy on AMA Board
The AMA is inviting Doctors in Training to nominate for an appointed two-year position on the AMA Board of Directors.
Suitably qualified AMA Doctor in Training members are invited to express an interest in representing the Council of Doctors in Training on the Board of Australian Medical Association Limited.
Under the terms of the AMA Constitution half of the Board members stand down each year. In 2023, the representative of the Council of Doctors in Training is required to stand down with the incumbent eligible for re-nomination.
Email jzanesco@ama.com.au for the specific skills matrix against which nominees to the Board will be assessed.
Expressions of interest consisting of a curriculum vitae and one page supporting statement that addresses the skills matrix should be emailed to jzanesco@ama.com.au by 5.00pm on Wednesday 26 April 2023.
The AMA Council of Doctors in Training will consider prospective candidates and the preferred candidate will be notified to the Secretary General by 30 April 2023.
